What Peace offers you

Peace is a vibrant congregation poised for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to individuals and families. It is our purpose to offer, Peace for your journey….Christ for your Destiny!

We celebrate our rich Christian heritage with traditional liturgical worship along with our Journey contemporary worship and a special FAMILY WORSHIP which we offer throughout the year. In each and every worship style you will find exciting music, relevant messages, and most importantly, the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ.

Our congregation is dedicated to building Christ’s Community, in, around and through, Peace. On a local level we sponsor and participate in numerous service projects. We also have a vibrant world wide mission focus within our own congregation and through world wide participation and partnership in the English District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.

Peace is committed to Christian education. Our Lutheran pre-school, Little Lambs of Peace, provides a Christian education for children ages 2 through 4 and is staffed by fully accredited teachers and aides. Peace also is committed to helping teenage students who attend Martin Luther and Milwaukee Lutheran High Schools and supports families wishing to send their children to Lutheran Day Schools.

With the worship of our Lord Jesus Christ as the focus of our existence, Peace is blessed with gifted musicians. Debra Stolpe is our Music Director and organist; Our Adult Choir is directed by Tom Halverson, and our Hand Bell choir is directed by Carol Plopper. Our contemporary praise band, continues to offer the latest Christian music for worship and is led by Brandon Garavet.

Our Children of the Light, (CotL) youth ministry, is divided into two different age groups (junior and senior high) and participates in bible study, national youth gatherings, local and nationwide servant events, mission efforts around the country and world-wide, as well as recreation and peer counseling.

Peace is a mission minded congregation and continues to involve itself in mission opportunities for all ages. Some of these mission "trips" are local as we serve in food pantries, clothing banks and meal programs. Other mission trips have taken us from China to Mexico, from Guatemala to Kyrgyzstan.
