Our high school youth stay active in weekly bible studies, fellowship gatherings, annual servant events and other special activities throughout the year.  Check back regularly for new events!

 

 

High School Bible Study

 

We are currently working through “Sex, Dating & Relating” by Mark Gungor who is also the author of the “Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage” curriculum. 

 

National Speaker, Mark Gungor, has been transforming marriages across America and around the world with his life-changing Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage seminar.  Multitudes of people have said, “I wish I’d known this when I was younger.  Do you have this information for my kids or grandkids?”  Here is the highly anticipated and much sought after information on dating and sex that we all wish we had known growing up.  In the society and culture we live in today, it is more important than ever that parents and teens are armed with the real facts and the truth.  The message presented in this material is meant to help teens make wise decisions, enabling the next generation to build strong and successful marriages and families…without all the physical and emotional baggage.  Join us Sunday mornings from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in the youth room!

 

 

Wednesday Night Youth

 

Sr. High COTL meets weekly on Wednesday nights from 7:30 – 8:30 PM.  Join us as we take time to catch up with each other, laugh a lot,  pray for one another, and build leadership skills.

 

 

National Youth Gathering

We live in a world where we are constantly bombarded with messages about how we should dress, spend money, eat, drink, study, work, vote, believe, live, etc. There are so many different messages that it gets hard to know which messages are true and which are just a bunch of lies. And then there are those in-between messages--the ones that aren't entirely wrong, but aren't entirely right either. So how do we know what messages we should listen to? How do we know what we really believe?

 

In God's Word, we find this statement in John's Gospel:

 

But these things are written that you may believe

that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God,

and that by believing you may have life in his name.

John 20:31

 

At the 2010 National LCMS Youth Gathering, we'll be focusing on these words. We'll look at what we believe and at what that means for everything we do.

 

We'll LOOK…

                        …and see the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

 

We'll LISTEN…

                        …and hear the words of the Word made Flesh whose words are spirit and life.

 

And we'll LIVE…

                        …because we have been given life in Jesus' name to love others as He first loved us.
