Hope Center (the former Cooperating Congregations of Waukesha County) was started in 1987 by a small group of pastors from the Waukesha area and has grown into a mission that serves Waukesha families with their basic needs of financial aid, food, clothing and furniture. Peace Lutheran has had a long standing relationship with the Hope Center (CCWC) and has helped them provide for the needs of homeless and low income individuals and families.

Currently we have a small group of members who help out at the Hope Center on the third Wednesday of every month. They work in the Clothing Shop, which provides everyday clothing and also career clothing for those in need.
